DeviantArt is going in very wrong direction. Today it replaces EVERY page i wanted to look at, every photo i wanted to look at, with silly and unwanted spammy box "Share Your Birthday". And it refused to go away - it was mandatory to fill birthday date and SHARE IT.
Where is privacy in this? And what about those who don't care about birthdays at all? And what is the point of making "birthday" most hatefull world on DeviantART?
Thank you very much DeviantART. I had to set my Birth day date to something totally false to be able to continue using DeviantART. I would say something about IDIOTS in charge of this, but i am sure that it is not going to help. But feel free to continue making DeviantART less and less usefull place.
And congratulation, you have succesfully forceda your users into something they cannot escape. Birthday madness.

Birthday spam, llama spam

"XXXX is having birthday" is spamming my activity message stream. So does something about "YYYY gave you Llama badge". Both is making me angry as i don't want this kind of information in volume it flows in.
Lama is something bad, unwanted. You call someone "lama" as insult. So thank you, i am sure you did not mean it that way, but still it looks as insult. Not really clever idea.
Birthday is fun, yes. I would say "congrats" about birthday to anyone, i REALLY personally know. Which i barely do on DeviantART. So, with all due respect, i don't care about birthdays of hundreths of strangers. But i do care about usability of DeviantART. So far spam of "XXX is having birthday" is just filling my Activity Message stream and making it useless. I can hardly check for important messages there.
So how do i get rid of stuff i don't want?

Pretty pissed by DA changing my avatar picture to some animated crap with disgusting Lady Gaga. I cant stand her and i simply don't see any reason, why my avatar was changed to that, sorry to say it, shitty picture.

Time to update my Journal. Two years ago, in March, i wrote something about "Get a CLUB feature dear DA". And see, two years passed, DA introduced groups (clubs). Took the very long, but it's there. Goodie.
Anyway, have fun, have good time. And thank you all for more than 2 years of wonderfull photography. DA is kind of obsession for me - i have built a huge "favourite" ring, which i enjoy several times a day. Walking through this digital exhibition and favouriting the pieces i really like is a joy.
